Crappers

Arghhhhh!  I was working on my poppy afghan.  Almost done.  Just a row or so of the edging left to do.  I missed my mouth and dripped some tea on it.  Oh! No! Tea stains.  So, thinking quick, I threw the partially completed afghan into the washer.  Yes, I remember to tie off the end so nothing unravelled.  Washed it in cold water and intended to flat dry.  Disaster struck!  The red yarn in the poppy blossoms faded all over the white yarn.  Yikes!  Now what?

I do intend to finish it and try washing it again to see if it will even out.  But that might not work, I might just end up with 2 shades of pink.  LOL

I do have better news though.  I finished up the Sequoia Shrug.  It really came out nice.  Too bad the weather isn't super cold this winter.  The shrug is really 'hot' to wear.

Also, I'm moving along on the pattern I'm testing - The Cold Shoulder Pullover.  I am making both the front and back at the same time to try to keep them identical.
